"PLUCKY" to "PLUNKY"

Yesterday I was feeling pretty "Plucky". It was a long and exciting day for our "Plucky Maidens Junkfest" and today I'm feeling rather "Plunky", as in...I'd just like to plunk myself down on the couch and do nothing at all. FAT CHANCE! Today was our Annual Early Family Thanksgiving Dinner & Bingo Party for 50+ people. And now I'm home, in my jammies, at my computor. Wanted to make sure I thanked everyone of you who came to the show yesterday and helped to make it such a success. Here's some photo's from the Children's Cottage. I was not able to get pictures of the vendors in the lodge but they were all spectacular!
Here's some holiday cheer from Sue Hagood.

Amy Kozma from Into Vintage,  sparkles near the front door.

Lynn of Monticello Antique Mall, always amazes.
Hey, there she is! Busy getting things priced.
Vintage ornaments in a birdbath. A perfect example of her talent!
One of my favorite dealers and a sweet friend, Michelle of My Shabby Passion.

 Michelle never disapoints.

I was greeted by this cheerful birdcage while entering Wendy & Ron Brown's room, of Vintage Market. Always so good to visit with this happy couple!

Now we enter Mack & Momma territory. I had more room than I knew what to do with so it looks abit sparse.

My good friend Tawny made these awesome Encaustic Christmas Ornaments, embellished with vintage jewels.

Here's Julie Murray of Saltbox Treasures, busy setting up her room. It was "To Die For".

Maria and her mother, from Magia Mia. Still setting up her elaborate space for her very first show. Wish I had a picture of the completed set-up. It was quite inviting. "Thumbs Up", Maria!

Just Chic had an awesome space! So shabby French!

And my "Oh so sweet" friend, Lisa Love Harris of The Garden Cat and soon to be famous mystery author. So creative and friendly. Loved seeing her again!
Rochelle Gaukel of Lola's, has a phenomenal talent for creating jewelry!
My dear friend Fransisca and her adorable mother were there representing Bee and Mason with their best treasures.
Now I must prepare to give all my spaces a Holiday Face-Lift.
Tomorrow I'll be bringing Christmas to Main Street Vintage and Camas Antiques. Tuesday I'll be working on Antique Alley and Monticello's. Mark your calendars for Friday, November 25th - Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on 18th and Main Street in Up-town Vancouver. Sales, extended retail hours, snacks and hot cider, special sales, carolers, and more.
Hope to see you there!
Chris/Momma

  1. Sounds like you all had a great show. I did not get down off my mountain until 1:00, then I knew it would be too late to get over there. The perils of living in the higher elevations, slow to warm the temperature up when there has been any snow or ice. Florence
